Washing
- Frequency: Wash every 15-20 wears, or when product buildup is visible
- Shampoo: Sulfate-free only. Sulfates strip natural oils and dry out Remy hair
- Conditioner: Apply from mid-lengths to ends only — avoid roots and tape/bead areas
- Water temperature: Lukewarm. Hot water weakens adhesive bonds
- Technique: Wash in downward motion only. Never scrub, twist, or pile hair on top of your head
Brushing
- Use a loop brush or wide-tooth comb designed for extensions
- Always brush from ends upward to roots — never the reverse
- Hold the roots with your other hand to avoid pulling on attachment points
- Brush 2-3 times daily, especially before bed and after washing
Heat Styling
- Always use heat protectant spray before any hot tools
